Windgate Visual Arts Center @ Millsaps College

The Windgate Visual Arts Center at Millsaps will enhance and expand the studio arts offerings of the College and provide a new art gallery, studios, and classroom spaces in the Art and Art History Department. Millsaps continues to strengthen the relationships with the local community with additional venues for the arts and local art organizations.

The building program includes the Lewis Art Gallery, an Outdoor Sculpture Garden, lecture & seminar space, studios for printmaking, drawing, painting, computer graphics, sculpture, woodshop, and faculty offices. The site provided an opportunity to create a new West Campus entrance, that was once the College’s front door.
