Project
Natchez Convention Center
The Convention Center in Natchez, Mississippi is a perfect addition to the historic city’s downtown. The state-of the art facility occupies an entire city block of the historic district. The historic character of the building’s façades are designed to blend in with the district’s 1800’s era cityscape. JH&H, in association with local architectural firm, Waycaster & Associates, worked closely with the Natchez Historic Foundation, Mississippi Department of History & Archives, City Leaders, Citizens of Natchez and the Convention & Visitors Bureau to achieve the overall objective. The 57,000 ft2 Convention Center provides over 28,000 ft2 of divisible meeting and exhibit space.
