Project

Germantown Middle School

Gluckstadt Middle School is a 85,000 SF facility dedicated to the growth and learning process of sixth, seventh, and eighth grade students. The school is designed with individual wings for each grade level and features 36 classrooms with three courtyards dispersed throughout the design for gathering and overflow. There are also spaces dedicated for the choir and band departments. Other features include a new cafeteria and new gymnasium. In addition, this facility houses three office suites for staff, counselors, and administrative functions.

The design of the facility is a collection of contemporary and traditional elements that blend for a wonderful result. Entering the building, you are greeted by a visual display of color and architectural elements suspended from the ceilings. The main corridor serves as the unifying and connecting area for all wings.
