Delta State University Nowell Student Union Renovation

JH&H provided master planning, programming and design for the renovations and additions of Nowell Student Union at Delta State University. The University was in need of more modern and updated dining venues on campus – our phased solution brings the existing Union back to a more student-friendly destination with new dining venues and more student services to create synergy in the core of campus. Phase I provides a new 44,000 square foot addition to provide a double-height food service venue, student lounge, 2nd floor banquet hall with prefunction, and student activity space. Phase II addresses nearly 58,000SF of renovations in the existing Union with improvements of circulation throughout and updated spaces for Student Organizations, Meeting Rooms, Offices, Bookstore, Printing and Post Office.
