Project

Bolton-Edwards Intermediate & Middle School

In August of 2000, the Hinds County School District celebrated the opening of the Intermediate School in Hinds County, Mississippi. The school was built with funds provided through the Mississippi Adequate Education Program and provides general curriculum and courses for grades 3 through 5. The continued growth within the school district and the successful passage of a bond issue provided a 38,000 square foot addition of a New Middle School adjoining the existing Intermediate School. The separate lobbies and entrance areas for the intermediate and middle schools provide security and an inviting environment with sight lines visible to the administrative offices throughout the interior. The Middle School Addition was completed in 2004 and increased the student capacity to over 900 students within the complex
